First of all, I am not an artist so I cannot offer any perspective on the value of this set in terms of artist quality. I bought it as an outlet for me and to help me relax and I must say it has done a great job. An ideal starter set for anyone who needs a creative outlet or just has some time to kill. I like this set because it gives you everything you need to get going: 48 pages (of varying quality) plus twelve two-sided pencils and a rudimentary sharpener. Nothing elaborate here but for the cost, its a great value. A few of the pages are printed in great detail and render very nicely if you take time and are patient. Other pages are of a simpler nature and are great if you just wants a quick scribble. I must say its gotten me hooked and I have already purchased more artist supplies.

This publisher has repeated delays (it was supposed to be released 11/1/2016, and finally was printed in January 2017), and the choice of pictures they are using lately in this and another of their new releases are sketchy and hard to color. I'm going to unsubscribe from their publications; their earlier releases were much better.

I would like to note the name is missleading color your way to calm this did not help my anxiety one bit i have a coloring book app that does wonders i wanted a real one and got two the other is very good but this one was almost irritating trying to decide what i can color how to etc etc i had to put so much extra thought into it it almost increased my anxiety attack with thatThe 12 two sided color pencils are what really makes this a deal for the price the booklet is cute not to small but should be bigger the hard flap for coloring makes it ideal for travel or my couch the paper quality is a bit thicker then printer paper the colors are nice you can press hard or do layers to build up the color only one option for skin tone though the main issue is that the images themselves are like a scratch drawing with a pen which makes it hard to color in my opinion however upon diving into one i like the way it looks as i go so if there was a stronger edit on the images choose with larger objects to fill in and less black it would be more enjoyable to color

These coloring book sets are awesome! Nice color selections, quality paper. They're great for traveling, you have everything you need all in a convenient compact case. A great gift for someone in the hospital.

ONLY about 3 or 4 pages out of 31 pages were NOT Horrible/Dark Pictures/More like a TRAVEL Brochure than a 'coloring book:(

It’s a great book! However it came slightly damaged. All four corners bent and twisted up, a few pages were actually torn at the ends, and some weird scratch marks on the back. I spoke with an amazon rep about getting a refund but still haven’t received it. All In all the book itself is very nice, wonderful pictures in it!

CHUCK EASTMAN is a Professor in the Colleges of Architecture and Computing at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, and Director of the Digital Building Laboratory, a university-industry consortium, where heleads research in IT in building design and construction. PAUL TEICHOLZ is Professor Emeritus at Stanford University. After twenty-five years innovating with IT solutions in the construction industry, he founded the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) at Stanford in 1988 and directed that program for tenyears. He was named the Construction Management "Man of the Year" by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 1985 and awarded the Henry C. Turner Prize for Innovation in Construction Technology by the National Building Museum in 2006. RAFAEL SACKS is an Associate Professor in Structural Engineering and Construction Management at Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. He founded and leads the Virtual Construction and BIM Laboratory at the Israel National Building Research Institute, and has conducted primary and applied BIM research for industry, government, and public organizations in North America, Europe, and Israel. KATHLEEN LISTON is CEO of Eco Offsite, a modular construction company. She co-founded Common Point Technologies, Inc., a construction simulation software company. She has worked with a variety of organizations, including Autodesk, Walt Disney, DPR Construction, and Mortenson Construction, developing technologies and processes to implement BIM.
