I cannot believe I already got this through amazon, particularly since its not scheduled to be released until March 2010. Lots of great antagonists and story arches to play with, would certainly recommend to add some depth and horror to any Mage Chronicle.
I purchased this for my 28 year old son for Christmas - he loved it.
The cast of creatures, opponents and organizations in this book would make wonderful additions to any chronicle. Even, or especially, those that are *not* based on mages. For example, how would a vampire react if a member of his or her herd suddenly becomes infected with the False Awakening... and then another, and then another? How would a pack of Forsaken Uratha respond if one of their Kinfolk fell victim to one of the Ravaged... and encountered a pack of Pure Uratha investigating a similar anomaly? This book offers a wide spread of new role-playing opportunities for any World of Darkness game. Highly recommended!
