But I was seeking more information to know exactly what happened to my knee.With this book's help I was able to figure out that most likely I'd damaged my Medial Collateral Ligament and had a grade 2 sprain that might take up to 4 weeks to heal. This was very helpful information. I also liked that this book had pictures of knee anatomy so I could learn more about the injury.As a physiotherapist, George Demirakos is very knowledgeable about all things knee. He gives descriptions and pictures of exercises and stretches that can help in rehabilitation. He also includes gym workouts for those serious about maintaining fitness and knee health. I found this therefore to be a reassuring guide. This book also taught me one exercise I can do in bed while laying flat on my back.So this book can be helpful to people who want to know more about knee anatomy and what to do in case of a sprain - ice or heat? This book answers those types of questions. It also taught me what foods to eat to help a tendon heal faster. I have a supplement I wasn't taking that I'll start taking now and I have a cream with Arnica in it that will help.Sometimes all you need to get through a difficult time is an author like George Demirakos. He seems to care about his reader and gives his best advice for injury or future healing and strength training. I'm glad I read this book as it has educated me on the structure of my knee and what to do to keep it stronger in the future.~The Rebecca Review
